ABOUT US

The Barr Academy of Performing Arts has been running weekly Sunday classes in Musical Theatre – singing, dancing & acting at Longburrow Hall in Stokenchurch since 2011. Our aim is to encourage and inspire tots, children and young adults to become creative, imaginative and motivated in all aspects of performing arts & life.

Starting with the youngest children, we focus on increasing confidence and self-belief and work on building their social & performance skills. As they progress through the academy we concentrate more on technique and implementing that technique into practical musical theatre performance; numbers where the children sing and dance at the same time.

Most importantly we hope that every individual in every class has lots of fun in a safe and secure environment!
